Pārāwai School Inaugural Ambrose Golf Tournament 2020

The inaugural “Pārāwai School Ambrose Fundraising Golf Tournament” is taking place on Sunday 15th November 2020 at the Thames Golf Club.

While we are hoping that this event will be a major fundraiser for Pārāwai School, we do recognise that 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and our plans first and foremost are to make this an exciting and fun-filled day for all. Not only do we envisage seeing lots of golf played with participating golfers from around the community including friends, family and supporters of Pārāwai School, this event will also provide an opportunity for our sponsors, to showcase their business, entertain clients and gain exposure to new clients. Opportunities for sponsorship include Golf Tee Sponsorship and / or donating prizes for an auction which will be conducted in the clubroom at the end of the day’s play.

All funds raised from the tournament will go towards improving the learning for our students, with proceeds going toward the purchase of a new school mini-van, transport costs and learning equipment that will benefit all of our 250 learners.

We’d love you to take part by entering a team or two. You may wish to sponsor a hole, provide a prize for the prize table (or a combination). We encourage all our Pārāwai School community past and present, current and potential suppliers to the school, the wider Thames / Paeroa / Hauraki community, and those just wanting an awesome day out to participate before the busy rush up to Christmas. It’s a great opportunity to reward staff and/or clients with a fun afternoon. Drinks and food will be provided during the day and at the prize giving.
